Tiya Cunningham-Sumter is a highly motivated and skilled personal, professional and certified life and relationship coach. She is a wife, mom of two and author of three published books. Relationship Coach
We embrace love, our partners, and our relationships by making conscious choices. We define the kind of partner we wish to be and envision how we want our relationship to look and feel. Our actions are also a choice; we contribute to our relationship’s dynamics, encompassing the good, the bad, and everything in between. Additionally, we determine whether to stay or leave and how much energy and effort to invest. When a relationship no longer serves us, we face new choices. As a certified relationship coach, I recognize the significance of the decisions couples make, which can sometimes be challenging and may require professional support and guidance. This is where I come in. I am passionate about serving couples and providing resources that assist them in navigating these choices. With nearly 30 years of marriage experience, I draw from both professional training and personal lessons. I am dedicated to helping couples achieve their goals with realistic tools, timeless advice, and practical activities tailored to their most pressing needs. I actively listen and work to assist couples in rejuvenating their relationships during their most challenging times.
Career Coach
I take great pride in aiding individuals in reaching their goals, whether in relationships, marriage, or careers. While I am deeply passionate about assisting others in finding success in love, it is equally important to thrive in other aspects of life, including their careers. When we live with purpose and feel fulfilled individually, we can effectively contribute to all aspects of our lives.
Choosing the right career can be challenging, as our desires and aspirations may evolve over time. However, finding fulfillment in your current position and maximizing every opportunity is a realistic and attainable objective. Throughout my career journey, I have gained valuable lessons from every experience—whether working under a demanding manager or one who nurtured my growth. I embrace it all, as it has shaped me into a better professional and leader.
I find joy in leadership and love teaching others how to enjoy their work while advancing to the next level, if that’s their desire. Your career can serve as a means to fund your dreams or provide essential lessons that you can carry with you throughout your journey.

As a leader and a passionate advocate for following one’s dreams and doing what you love, I excel at helping others reach their goals. I have successfully progressed in my career from entry-level positions to a director role, authored and published three books, have enjoyed a happy marriage for nearly thirty years, and raised two accomplished daughters.
